9月17日，我校来自澳大利亚，德国，波兰，韩国，印度，中国台湾等国家和地区的15名学生参加2018年中国仲裁高峰论坛。中国仲裁高峰论坛由中华人民共和国最高人民法院、联合国国际贸易法委员会等机构联合主办，中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会主任兼秘书长王承杰，联合国国际贸易法委员会秘书长Anna JOUBIN-BRET 等仲裁界专业人士出席本次高峰论坛并演讲。

论坛上，国际仲裁机构的代表、法官、仲裁员、律师、公司法务等人士就纽约公约六十周年；争议解决方式的多元化和国际化；不同法律文化的融合以及新技术对仲裁的影响三个议题进行深入研讨。会议期间各位专家各抒己见，围绕国内外仲裁发展的趋势和热点问题进行讨论，气氛十分活跃。台下的与会人员仔细聆听，共同学习。

中国仲裁高峰论坛是中国仲裁界一次高规格的盛会，也是国际商事仲裁领域最具影响力的盛宴之一。我校比较法学博士生Gulnur Nurkeyeva表示：“非常荣幸能够参加中国仲裁高峰论坛并有机会认识仲裁界的仲裁员，专家教授。”此次论坛，不仅提高了我校学生关于仲裁方面的专业知识，更开阔了我校学生的国际视野。
CUPL International Students Participate inChina Arbitration Summit 2018
On September 17th, the 2018 China Arbitration Summit, organized by The Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China (SPC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), was held at the Beijing Hotel. CUPL students from more than 10 countries participated in the Summit.
The Summit hosted many famous scholars, arbitrators, lawyers and judges in the field of International Maritime Arbitration, such as Ms. Anna JOUBIN-BRET, the Secretary of UNCITRAL, and Mr. LUO Dongchuan, Vice President of the Supreme People’s Court. The Summit had three sessions: Retrospect and Prospect: 60th Anniversary of New York Convention, Opportunities and Challenges: Diversification and Internationalization of Dispute Resolution Mechanisms, and Culture and Innovation: Impacts on Arbitration by Integration of Different Legal Cultures and New Technologies.
CUPL students gleaned significant insights into International Commercial Arbitration through their participation in the China Arbitration Summit 2018, commenting that the sessions were meaningful, and expressing interest in participating in similar summits in the future that are organized by the school.
