Beijing Government Scholarship

In 2006, Beijing Municipal Education Commission established and launched the "Beijing Government Scholarship", which is used to subsidize tuition fees, aiming at promoting the internationalization of higher education in Beijing. Attract more outstanding high-level foreign students and scholars to study and engage in research activities in China; Encourage outstanding students to continue their studies here; To reward students who are good in character and study and friendly to China.

Scholarship Coverage:
Provides full scholarships and partial scholarships, covering tuition fee or half of the tuition fee of the current academic year.

Eligibility:

1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health;

2. Applicants should be registered as CUPL's student already, those who are in extension or suspension are not included;

3. Applicants must abide by Chinese laws and regulations, school rules and discipline, with excellent character and academic performance;

4. Applicants shall have not received any scholarships and academic support provided by any government, organization, unit or individual at the same time.

Application Documents:

1. Fill in the Application Form for Beijing Government Scholarship;

2. Transcripts (freshmen do not need to provide);

3. HSK transcript (students of Chinese language majors are excluded);

4. Scientific research results (publications, papers, etc.) obtained in the previous academic year. If it is not written in Chinese or English, notarized copies of Chinese or English translations shall be provided;

5. Relevant information of participating in various activities at all levels inside and outside the school on behalf of the school or college in the last academic year;

6. Relevant information of participating in various activities at all levels inside and outside the school as a volunteer on behalf of the school or college in the last academic year;

7. Other materials to help with scholarship application.

Note: If the applicant's conditions do not meet the eligibility or the application materials are incomplete, the application will be deemed invalid and will not be accepted.

Normally in September to October of each year
