Participate in China Arbitration Summit 2018
On September 17th, 2018, China Arbitration Summit 2018, organized by The Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China (SPC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), was held in Beijing Hotel. CUPL students from more than 10 countries and regions participated in the China Arbitration Summit 2018.
China Arbitration Summit invited many famous scholars, arbitrators, lawyers and judges in the field of International Maritime Arbitration, such as Ms. Anna JOUBIN-BRET, the Secretary of UNCITRAL, Mr. LUO Dongchuan, Vice President of the Supreme People’s Court. China Arbitration Summit had three sessions. Retrospect and Prospect: 60thAnniversary of New York Convention, Opportunities and Challenges: Diversification and Internationalization of Dispute Resolution Mechanisms, and Culture and Innovation: Impacts on Arbitration by Integration of Different Legal Cultures and New Technologies.
CUPL students got more knowledge related to International commercial arbitration through the China Arbitration Summit 2018. They said it’s meaningful and they hoped to participate in more activities.
